Body

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works Desires to provide for the relocation and replacement of water distribution facilities owned by the City of Kansas City in connection with 85th & Troost Improvements, Project No. 2407; and, 

 

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends the execution of a Cooperative Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto, pursuant to which the County will pay for the design and construction of the relocation and replacement of these facilities, out of funds to be advanced by the City of Kansas City, in the maximum amount of $552,620.00; now therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED  by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to enter into the attached Cooperative Agreement with the City of Kansas City, for the relocation and replacement of the City's water distribution facilities in connection with 85th & Troost Improvements, Project No. 2407.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
