Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4281, dated December 13, 2010, the Legislature did authorize the acceptance of the Family Court Division's Family Drug Court Program grant, received from the U.S. Department of Justice, for the period of October 1, 2010, through September 30, 2013; and,
WHEREAS, the County and the U.S. Department of Justice now desire to extend the grant through June 30, 2014, at no additional cost to the County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Family Court Division's Family Drug Court Program grant, received from the U.S. Department of Justice, be and hereby is extended until June 30, 2014; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Prosecuting Attorney and all other County officials be and hereby are authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to the extension.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
