Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
 
Section 1.  A conditional use permit is hereby granted for a period of twenty-five (25)  years to  continue operating a residential care facility (nursing home) as to a 2 + acre tract, described as follows:
 
Description:  The 2 ± acres are generally located ½ ± of a mile north of U.S. Highway 24 on the east side of Blue Mills Road lying in the southwest quarter of Section 16, Township 50, Range 31 in Jackson County, Missouri and specifically described as:
 
Beginning 1959.84 feet west and 300.77 feet north of the southeast corner of west half of southeast quarter of Section 16-50-31, said point being on the easterly right-of-way of Blue Mills Road, thence south 78 degrees 27 minutes east 283.52 feet, thence south 13 degrees 01 minutes east 250.70 feet to the south line of said section, thence west along said south line 420.00 feet to the easterly right-of-way of Blue Mills Road, thence northeasterly along said right-of-way 310.80 to the point of beginning aka 2207 N. Blue Mills Road.
 
Section 2.  The conditional use permit granted by this Ordinance is subject to the following condition:      
  1. That applicant comply with applicable state regulations and licenses governing senior citizen residential care facilities.
  3. Section 3.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Blue Hills Rest Home, Inc. (CU-2006-191), requesting approval embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on June 15, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
  1. Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
