WHEREAS, the Family Court Division has been awarded a grant in the amount of $18,500.00 by the Hallmark Cards and the Zimmerman Foundation for the CPC-Assessments project to supplement the Child Protection Center grant that has already been appropriated; and,
WHEREAS, the CPC-Assessments project began as of July 1, 2005 and will continue until all funding has been expended; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 2005 Grant Fund be and hereby is made:
