AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from District A (Agricultural) to District RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 10.65± acre tract generally located 600± feet north of U.S. Highway 50 on the west side of Al Gossett Road.

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

Description: A 10.65 ± acre tract of land generally located 600 ± feet north of U.S. Highway 50 on the west side of Al Gossett Road and legally described as:

 

Commencing at the NE corner of the SW. 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 21, Township 47, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri; thence S 2̊21'07" W along the East line of said 1/4 1/4 for 323.16 feet to the true point of beginning of the following described tract; thence N 87 ̊39'45" W and parallel to the North Line of said 1/4 1/4 for 1345.92 feet to the West Line of said 1/4 1/4; thence S 2̊11'31" W along said West Line for 344.18 feet; thence S 87̊40'41" E for 1344.96 feet to said East Line; thence N 2̊21'07"   E for 343.81 feet to the point of beginning.  Containing 10.65 acres.  And all being subject to easements, restrictions and reservations of record, aka 13322 S. Al Gossett Road.

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of John and Linda Terry (RZ-2004-355), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on October 21, 2004, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
