Body
WHEREAS, the City of Lone Jack, Missouri, has requested the use of $5,000.00 from its CURS refund account for use in street repairs on Main Street, Carrico Drive, Van Buren, Rosehill Road, and Slim Beeman Road; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the projects proposed by the City will benefit the citizens of Lone Jack and the citizens of Jackson County; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that pursuant to Chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $5,000.00 to the City of Lone Jack.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
