(Residential Ranchette) a certain 5.5± acre tract.

ORDINANCE # 3772,   June 5, 2006

 

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

The 5.5 ± acres are generally located ¼ ± of a mile north of Twiehaus Road on the east side of Johnson Road and specifically described as a Part of the Southwest Quarter of Section1, Township 50, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as:

 

Description: Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 1 (Found 3/8" Iron Bar w/Cap), said point bears North 88̊56'52" West, a distance of 2629.51 feet from the Southeast corner of said Southwest Quarter (Found ½" Iron Bar w/Cap, "CWM-LS#123D"); thence North 02̊10'48" East, along the West line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 1, a distance of 1314.38 feet to the Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 1 (Found 5/8" Iron Bar w/Alum. Cap, LS#39D), said point being the POINT OF BEGINNING of the tract described herein; thence continuing North 02̊10'48" East, along said West line, a distance of 386.94 feet; thence South 89̊05'03" East, a distance of 144.60 feet (144.20 feet, deed); thence South 00̊54'57" West, a distance of 57.75 feet (Found ½" Galv. Pipe); thence South 89̊05'03" East, a distance of 560.46 feet to a point which bears North 89̊05'03" West, a distance of 453.28 feet from the East line of the West 35 Acres of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 1; thence South 02̊10'48" West, a distance of 330.01 feet to a point which bears North 89̊01'02" West, a distance of 453.27 feet from the point of intersection of said East line of the West 35 acres of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and the South line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 1; thence North 89̊01'02" West, along the South line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, a distance of 706.31 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Containing 241,133.73 square feet (5.53 acres) more or less aka 4013 N. Johnson Road.

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Edward B. Reese, Jr. (RZ-2006-400), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission, unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on May 18, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
