Body
WHEREAS, the Recorder of Deeds has a need to relocate and reshelve deed books; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 23-029 for the relocating and reshelving of deed books; and,
WHEREAS, a total of twenty-five notifications were distributed and viewed and three responses were received and evaluated, from the following:

Houston, TX
Kofile Technologies
Dallas, TX
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, the Directors of Finance and Purchasing and Recorder of Deeds recommend the award of contract for relocation and shelving of deed books to Superior Moving of Kansas City, MO, for the reason it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set forth in the attached recapitulation and analysis, at a cost to the County not to exceed $29,526.00; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Directors of Finance and Purchasing and Recorder of Deeds and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
