Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 13645, dated April 2, 2001, enter into a contract with Pyramid Excavation and Construction, Inc., of Shawnee, KS, in the amount of $131,971.00, for the Longview Lake - Fred Arbanas Golf Course Cartpath Replacement, Phase V, Project No. 2426; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed Change Order No. 1 (Final), a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is necessary to adjust various plan quantities to as-built quantities, and said change order will result in a decrease in the amount of $46.90; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Change Order No. 1 to the aforesaid contract is approved and the County Executive is authorized to execute the change order on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
