Body
WHEREAS, the Assessment Department has a continuing need for mortgage loan information relating to the purchase and sale of commercial real estate property throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan area; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.1 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has determined that this required information can be obtained from only one source, Trepp, Inc., of New York City, New York; and,
WHEREAS, the Directors of Finance and Purchasing and Assessment recommend the award of a three-year contract for the furnishing of mortgage loan information services to Trepp, Inc., of New York City, New York, as a sole source purchase, at an actual first year cost to the County in the amount of $90,023.00; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Directors of Finance and Purchasing and Assessment, and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment, on the contract to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
