Body
WHEREAS, the County Counselor had a Legal Services Agreement with the law firm of Husch Blackwell, LLP, of Kansas City (Jackson County), MO, since 2013 to provide specialized legal services relating to general personnel matters; and,

WHEREAS, the County Counselor recommends that he be authorized to execute an Addendum to the Legal Services Agreement to provide for additional compensation to be payable to the firm in the additional amount of $10,000.00 for services to be delivered through the end of 2022; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Counselor be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Addendum to the Legal Services Agreement with Husch Blackwell, LLP, of Kansas City, MO, for services to be performed through December 31, 2022, at an actual cost to the County not to exceed $10,000.00; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment, on the Addendum.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
