Body
WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Public Safety has awarded a grant in the amount of $25,000.00 to the Sheriff's Office for its Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) program; and,

WHEREAS, the ALPR program is used by the Sheriff's Office in unincorporated Blue Summit to quickly identify, locate, and apprehend suspect vehicles; and,

WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary in order to place the grant funds in the proper spending account; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2022 Grant Fund be and hereby is made:
