WHEREAS, the Jackson County Family Court Division has been awarded a grant by the State of Missouri Office of State Courts Administrator in the amount of $11,205.00, to provide funding for its Mediation Program, to create and implement domestic relations programs; and,
WHEREAS, the grant is awarded for the period of July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place these grant funds in the appropriate spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made from the undesignated fund balance of the 2023 Grant Fund:
